Room Details
Did you know that our bungalow names are inspired by oldest tribes in Indonesia.
This one we named Asmat.
Asmat is a tribe living on small islands in mangrove vegetation nearby the sea, on the south side of the western part of New Guinea Island. The members of the Asmat tribe believe that they arose out of wood. Therefore, wood is sacred for them. Even in ancient times, they carved wonderful things from wood. Asmat is considered to be the best woodcarvers of the stone age and many of their engraved carvings are in museums around the world.
Bungalow Asmat at Disini Lombok offers a generous 49 m² of thoughtfully designed space. The bungalow features a king-size bed for two guests, with the option of an extra bed for a third person—ideal for couples or small families.
Step onto the 10.8 m² private terrace, complete with a comfortable lounge area, where you can unwind and take in the magical views over Selong Belanak Lagoon—a perfect moment of calm at the end of the day.
The bungalow’s interior celebrates local craftsmanship.
The bathroom ceramics are handmade and hand-painted, adding unique character to the space. Teak wood is the main material used throughout, from the custom furniture and structural pillars to the flooring itself, while handcrafted pottery and rattan decor details bring warmth and a natural, earthy ambience.
Every element has been carefully selected and handmade by village communities across Lombok, reflecting Disini Lombok’s commitment to authenticity, sustainability, and local artistry.
