Room Details
Did you know that our bungalow names are inspired by oldest tribes in Indonesia
This one we named Dani
Dani tribe described as Stone Age people; when they were first ‘discovered’, the way they lived resembled how we imagine pre-historic man had once lived, sparking huge interest around the world. Traditionally, the Dani wear penis sheaths (koteka) or grass skirts, both men and women’s chests bare. They paint their faces with natural dyes, embellishing their necks with shells and pierce their noses with boar tusks. Some men had many wives if he could afford them. The women cut their fingers off when their loved ones died (Ikipalin).
Dani bungalows is a 42m2 house with a sea view terrace of 10,8 m2 and lounge area. Room includes a toilette with big shower and a king sized bed and possibility of extra bed for one person. Wooden floor and sliding door to terace with a mangnificent view toward Selong Belanak Lagoon
Ceramic in the bathroom is handmade and handpainted. Teak wood was the main material for our furniture and pillars (including the floor), and pottery details bring warmth into the ambient. All details are handmade by different village communities from Lombok.
